What are Medicine Chants?
Sacred Songs are deeply connected to various traditions: shamanic chants, icaros from the jungle, Rainbow music, mantras, and prayers that express one’s true Self.
In all their forms, sacred songs and medicine music aim to guide us into the depths of our hearts, fostering a connection with our soul and the Great Spirit. They are raised as an offering, a prayer, and a powerful channel to reach out to the Universe and its elements.
The act of singing is also a profound tool for healing. Shamans use power songs to overcome illness, as the vibration carries a significant curative force—both physically and emotionally.
Medicine music is a universal language that speaks directly to the heart and soul, flooding everything with Love and Gratitude. It is prayer, thanksgiving, and a shared vibration of joy.
A Prayer for Medicine Songs:
“May medicine songs soar eternally on the wind and reach the heart of every being.
May they bloom in every life that breathes,
Heal the soul of the Earth,
Remind us of the path of the heart,
And resonate with the universal feeling that makes us all One…
Love is the ultimate medicine.”
Kahlil Gibran once said:
“Music is the language of the spirit. Its secret current vibrates between the heart of the singer and the soul of the listener.”
